Unlike many celebrities, Victoria Beckham is well-known for her disciplined approach to life. From her career to her fitness efforts, she insists on hard work, and it shows.
Victoria is in her forties but is in the best shape of her life. What's more, the world-famous fashion designer looks better every year and largely contributes it to her diet and exercise regiment.
In her words, "I am very, very disciplined in the way that I work out, in what I eat. That's how I'm happiest. I expect a lot from my body – I'm 44, I've got four kids, I work a lot, I travel. For me to do all that, I have to eat healthily and work out."
Today, we'll go over the Victoria Beckham workout. But first:
The Incredible Importance of Nutrition
As you'll see in just a moment, Victoria Beckham's training program is no joke. For her to sustain such a demanding regimen, she has to fuel her body with nothing but high-quality foods.
In her words, "I enjoy eating healthily, and I'm in the fortunate position where it's easy for me. I can afford to eat well."
When it comes to her demanding workouts, the designer has said, "I expect a lot from my body, and I'm never sick. You have to be kind to your body if you expect a lot from it."
So, while it's essential to pay careful attention to how you structure your training, you also need to ensure that you're providing nothing but high-quality fuel for your body.
The Victoria Beckham Workout
The first thing that stands out when it comes to Victoria's training is that she has multiple workouts per day. That's right. Despite being incredibly busy, she manages to squeeze in numerous training sessions every single day.
She starts each day with a three-mile run before hitting a gym session with her PT at around 6 AM. She does an hour in the gym before her kids get up, and she usually does this five times per week. After she or David take the kids to school, she fits in another hour of work before getting to the office.
In her words, "I'm very disciplined, I have to be. It's really the only time in the day I get to myself." What's more, Victoria workouts six or seven days a week, so discipline is something she definitely doesn't lack.
The fashion designer also loves to attend different classes to keep things fresh and exciting when it comes to exercise. She's been known to attend the classes at SoulCycle and will fit in a workout at Barry's Bootcamp whenever she can.
Oh, but that's not all. Victoria Beckham also enjoys practicing yoga (if you've seen any of her famous stretches on the couch, you'll know) alone and with her family.
And last but not least in the Victoria Beckham workout list, she has shared pictures of herself boxing - an incredibly beneficial activity that burns a lot of calories and makes us stronger and quicker.
